Question Swine Flu

So as I'm sure you've all heard by now there is this Swine Flu going around. I'm not sure about your areas but here we have 15 confirmed cases of it. They have completely closed down ISDs and daycares for a week to just clean clean clean.

So what are your feelings on this? Do you think it could become a pandemic or do you think everyone is just overreacting?

I think everyone is overreacting and no I don't think it is going to be a pandemic. It isn't in my area or state yet but surrounding states have cases. You are to take the same precautions as you would the regular flu. My friend knows someone who had the swine flu in Texas and he recovered. As soon as you feel something isn't right or normal about your body (sick wise), go to the hospital. He went to bed with a normal headache and didn't think anything of it. When he woke up, his headache was worse, he couldn't breathe well and just felt AWFUL. His boss drove him to the hospital and sure enough he had the swine flu so needless to say they shutdown his company for cleaning and reopened the following week. He is a scuba diving instructor. He was only in the hospital for 2 days and released with mild symptoms. If you feel sick, STAY HOME don't infect others by going out shopping, etc.

I think everyone is overracting too. All the news does is freak people out about it. All the cases here have been mild and no one has needed hospital treatment. It is better to be safe then sorry, but people need to just calm down about it. Exactly...if you feel sick stay home!
